Jubilee Campus, University of Nottingham
We worked with BAM construction on their tender bid for the University of Nottingham new chemistry laboratory building, supporting the development of their submission.
Unfortunately, the BAM bid was un-successful but nonetheless represented a true and accurate submission of utilising the way of working using BIM.
However, the detailed model opened the door to a future productive working relationship between James & WARD and BAM from thereon.
Project BIM Model
The production of the BIM data provided the ability for BAM to measure the carbon in the building and also an effective method of gathering all the information to produce accurate and precise information for submitting the tender bid.
The elements of the project produced in 3d data included only architectural.
The role included taking the tender 2d drawings and modelling in 3d to meet the needs of the client in producing their tender bid.
